The objective of Ma-Matryoshka Family Festival on May 8th, 2016 is to promote Russian arts, to educate children and adults on Russian culture and show the relationship of family values on Mother’s Day with the Russian Matryoshka (nesting) doll.
We are writing to you to ask for your assistance by contributing funds for this cultural event to proceed in Clinton and be successful.
Preparing for the Family Festival, we will go to schools, libraries, hospitals and other non-profit organizations to present cultural programs, which explain the history of nesting dolls and how they have been made and developed for hundreds of years. In a country such as America, where almost everyone has come from someplace else in the world, it is important for all us to learn about each other’s roots and nothing symbolizes Russia culture more than the Matryoshka doll. This will be done in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere of sipping tea and eating Russian gingerbread cookies during our discussions.
Matryoshka Family Festival in Clinton, MA (also the home town for the Museum of Russian Icons) will take place on Sunday May 8th, and all activities will be devoted to Mother’s Day. Matryoshka is the symbol of Mother and the Family. There could not be a better day for Russian Matryoshka Festival. We think there will be many families and members of community who would join in celebrating this Day with Matryoshka-family. The Festival is organized in cooperation with Russian-American Cultural Center of Boston, a non-profit 501 c (3) organization, FID 04-3173214, From Russia with Art Gallery in Cambridge, MA and the Museum of Russian Icons in Clinton, MA.

This is a great opportunity to bring a number of visitors to the town of Clinton and to celebrate Mother’s Day along with Russian culture in this vibrant community and Greater Boston area. So please make a tax deductible contribution to the Russian American Cultural Center , a 501©(3) organization, via check at 20 Friend Street, Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA 01944 or by bank transfer to the Russian American Cultural Center, (For MA-MAtryoshka Festival-2016.)

Thank you!
Sincerely yours,
